Introduction

Vire is the missing link between your business and the technology products that it needs to succeed. We offer quotations, installation and maintenance on selected products. Please read through this page to answer any questions that you might have.

Build your Quote List

If you would like to get a quotation on a particular product, click on the 'Add to Quote' button found on each product item and product page. To view your quote list, click on the 'Your Quote List' button in the top right corner of each page to take you to your Quote List so far.

The Quote List will enable you to update quantities of items and remove items from your quote. Once you are satisfied, click on the 'Request a Quote' button, fill in your details, and our customer service team will come back to you with a quotation as soon as possible.

Can't find it?

Can't find that one item for your office? Let us try to find it for you. We will use our network of suppliers and partners in an attempt to locate and source the items that you want. Simply send an email to sales@vire.co.za or fill in the form on our Contact Us page detailing what you are looking for, and our team of customer service agents will try to track it down for you.

 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

 

Are you able to buy directly from the Vire website?

No. Our website does not handle any transactions, as the items are typically high value and aimed at B2B purchases. For that reason, we send quotations of requested products to our customers, where they can accept and pay via electronic funds transfer (EFT).

 

Do you need to be a registered business to purchase products from Vire?

No, you do not have to be a registered business to purchase from Vire. Our services are open to the general public.

 

Can I return goods that I have purchased from Vire?

Yes. Vire complies with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa, Act 68 of 2008. Products that are damaged or defective goods, or goods that are not the same as what was ordered has to be reported to Vire within 24 hours of the receipt thereof and has to still fall within their warranty period. In terms of section 20 of the CPA, the customer is liable for the direct cost of returning the product to Vire, but each case will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If the damaged or defect is due to our negligence, we will cover the direct cost of shipment to Vire. Read more on our returns, refunds and cancellations policy here.

 

How do refunds and cancellations work?

The Consumer Protection Act states that any order can be cancelled and refunded by a customer without any stated reason, as long as the goods are unused and still in the original unopened packaging. Section 20 of the CPA states that the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the products to Vire. Read more about our returns, refunds and cancellations policy here.

 

How do delivery charges work for products ordered from Vire?

We offer delivery for all of the products on our catalogue. Delivery is calculated based on the product type and will be included in the quotation. For more accurate delivery charges, please specify your area during the quotation request process.

 

Do you have a customer collection point?

Unfortunately we do not offer a customer collection point. Our products are sourced from multiple providers in multiple locations. By using the delivery only option, we save you money on delivery charges by eliminating additional delivery stops.

 

Where are the products on the website sourced from?

All of our products are sourced from the correct distribution channels in South Africa. This ensures that warranties and guarantees can be honoured, and that the correct after-sales support can be applied should the need arise.
